Greetings, [Player]. Your success is heartening.
Your next mission is to provide us with the brains we need to build a new R&D department. The Yamaguchi executives you persuaded provided us with information regarding the whereabouts of some top scientific personnel. Bluesky Tendencies has laboratories in Geneva, Vancouver and Matochkin Shar. All had Grade A scientific personnel assigned to them. As soon as your agents reach any of these destinations, a UTOPIA identkey trace in the local network should pick out target personnel.
These scientists are some of the most prized brains in the Syndicate. It is imperative that they come to no harm.
Update: The mysterious Church of the New Epoch gains more members hourly, converting citizens with a combination of brainwashing and CHIP hacking techniques. The converts show little evidence of genuine religious motivation. The Church of the New Epoch tells its followers that the end of the world is near and that only the Church possesses the technology to save the faithful from the Cataclysm. Their doctrine is defiantly anti-Syndicate.
Significantly, Unguided citizens don't necessarily join this cult, even when they encounter its zealots.
It also seems that our Persuadertrons do not work on the cultists themselves. We don't know why. We know practically nothing about the cult's technology but research into it has now begun as a matter of the highest priority. Their technical expertise is unquestionably impressive.

Observe the map: Across the road is a lone Minigun armed Zealot proselytizing, further up is the enclosed Zealot compound. The middle of the cityscape contains a U-shaped building and the two mission objectives (2xScientist) guarded by two Unguided with Miniguns. The other side of the city has a taxi driver waiting for a fare and also a section of raised ground which has another Zealot temple. Someone has also parked a motorbike on the grass near the northwest part of the city.
Stop the brainrot: group your agents and go convince the lone Zealot with captive audience of the error of his ways with some sustained Minigun fire. Pick up the gun he drops. Do not cross the road towards the cityblock with the Scientists otherwise an Unguided flash mob appears.
Need Zealot gun: Without crossing the road towards the Scientists, move up to the front of the Zealot temple in the southeast of the cityscape. Kill the two Zealots and take their Miniguns. Be careful of the respawning Psycho Gas trigger if you get too far past the front fence. If your agents become affected, move your other agents far away from the threat until you have the crazy agents under control. Killing the patrolling Zealot is optional but possible.
Firefight: Cross the road towards the cityblock containing the mission objective. Unguided with Uzi will spawn from the nearby buildings and attack enmasse. Pick up the weapons.
Quick cash: Kill the two Unguided guards next to the two Scientists. Don't move. On the northeast part of this city block a civilian and four minigunner Police will rush out from the base of the square green/grey structure. Two police will be shot dead with LR Rifle fire and possibly the civilian (the Grade D finance executive). The remaining police will run westwards and promptly be shot dead as well the civilian if he survived the initial ambush. To activate this sequence, move your agents towards the scientists but do not persuade them (you'll hear the gunshots). Quickly run to the civilian. Kill him if he is alive and quickly pick up the briefcase. The money briefcase only remains on the map for a maximum of five seconds! before disappearing.
Zealots bad day: Approach the farther Zealot compound and kill the two guards. If you approach the taxi driver he might run or get into the car. Nothing special happens either way. Return to the Scientists.
Brainpower: Select the persuading agent and group the other three in a line across the outside of the scientist's building. Persuade the two Scientists and then move further away from the entrance. Blue drug your other agents and wait for the two Unguided to drive the vehicle to a stop near the chainlink fence and then to rush the Scientists. Kill them as they approach and quickly pick up the two dropped High Explosives. Use all three agents to do so since there might be more than four actual bombs in the two drops.
Escape: Move toward the IML Link and complete the mission. Be careful killing the Scientists by being hit by a car, or any other threats.
End Mission: Make sure to pick up the Uzi since its just free money back at base. Persuade the civilians for 100cr each alive at mission termination.
Alternatives: Move west and towards the motorbike then up to the far Zealot compound and kill the two guards avoids the brainwashing Zealot. Crossing the road without killing the Psycho Gas trapped temple Zealot guards will cause them to join in the fight against you with the Unguided mob. Persuading the Scientists will cause the brainwashing Zealot to attack when you approach the IML Link possibly losing a Scientist in the firefight. You can avoid the far Zealot temple.

There is no bank in this mission, but there is an executive carrying a briefcase with 200,000 credits.
